Noida: The Metro Rail Corporation is offering co-branding rights at 12 stations on the Aqua Line, allowing private companies to associate their brand names with metro stations and use designated indoor and outdoor spaces for advertising. The initiative aims to enhance value for brands associated with the metro while maximising the corporation’s non-fare-box revenue potential.The selected licensee will be granted branding rights for a period of 10 years and may prefix or suffix its brand name with the station name, subject to the corporation’s approval. They also will be permitted to install and manage indoor and outdoor advertisements, including backlit panels, LED and LCD displays, digital screens, smart posters and other non-audio advertising formats.The selected bidder also will be required to earmark 5% of the advertising space at each station for public awareness and social campaigns, in accordance with the corporation’s requirements. A pre-bid meeting will be held on Aug 11, and the last date of submission of application is Aug 25.The stations covered are Sector 76, Sector 81, Sector 83, Sector 101, Sector 137, Sector 144, Sector 145, Sector 147, Sector 148, Pari Chowk, Alpha-1 and Depot Station. Of these, Pari Chowk and Alpha-1 offer the largest advertising inventory, with 460 sq m of outdoor advertising space, including station pillars, and 200 sq m of inside space. The remaining stations will have 300 sq m of outdoor advertising space each.At present, Aqua Line connects Noida Sector 51 to Depot Station in Greater Noida and records an average daily ridership of around 60,705 passengers, as per June 2026 data.
