Mysuru: A woman allegedly died by suicide at her home in Saraswathipuram on Wednesday night. However, the deceased woman’s relatives, including her daughter, suspect foul play.Saraswathipuram police said the deceased is Sandhya, 46, from Bengaluru. Sandhya was found dead in her room.
Sandhya had married Ranganath from Chamarajanagar district 25 years ago. The couple has two children, and their daughter is studying abroad. Police said there was allegedly an argument on Wednesday night between the husband and wife regarding sending the latter on a trip. After her husband left the house, Sandhya died by suicide inside a room of their home, police said.However, Sandhya’s relative filed a complaint expressing suspicion about her death. Her daughter, Srishti, who had returned from abroad on Friday morning, also expressed doubts about her mother’s death.A case of unnatural death was registered at Saraswathipuram police station. Both Sandhya’s husband, Ranganatha, and son, Karthik, denied any wrongdoing, but claimed Sandhya was adamant about going on a 10-day trip with her friends.
