Chikkamagaluru: Narasimharajapura police arrested a woman for murdering her husband. The accused allegedly murdered Sudarshan, 35, near Kargunda bus stop on May 23. The couple were daily wage labourers residing in Narasimharajapura town, police said. Three others allegedly involved in the case were also arrested, the police said.During the investigation, police suspected the role of his wife in the murder and took her into custody. A police officer said Sudarshan was married 10 years ago, and the couple had no proper understanding. She developed a friendship with a man from Shivamogga, the cops said.Due to marital discord and an illicit relationship with another man, she conspired to kill her husband, said a police officer. Following the murder, SP Vikram Amate formed a team to gather evidence with technical support from district staff.A team of officers, led by NR Pura SI Niranjan Gowda, cracked the case within 24 hours. A case was registered under Section 103(1), 55, 3(5) of the BNS Act, and legal proceedings were initiated, said SP Vikram Amate.
