BATHINDA: Condemning Israeli attacks on Iran, left-leaning organisations Lok Morcha Punjab and Inquilabi Kendra, held a protest march in Bathinda on Sunday. Members of both organisations accused the US of pushing various countries to the brink of war by making Israel attack Iran in which Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei was killed.Iran, while facing attacks from Israel, made strikes in various countries, due to which the entire West Asia is facing war-like conditions. “This has happened due to the ambitions of the US. India needs to lodge its protest and should use its good offices to ask the US to stop attacks,” said the left leaders.
Lok Morcha general secretary Jagmel Singh and Inquilabi Kendra’s Mukhtiar Poohla said as Iran was not ready to accept the terms of the US, it faced attacks. It happened as the US wanted to have high stakes in the oil-rich region.
