Noida: State BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary and organisation general secretary Dharampal Singh held a review meeting at Noida International Airport ahead of the project’s inauguration on March 28. They discussed the programme framework, public participation, logistical arrangements, and the allocation of responsibilities, and assigned duties to party office-bearers. District Medha Roopam also conducted an on-site inspection of the venue.During her visit, the DM reviewed various arrangements being put in place and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials. She assessed preparations related to the stage setup, rally area, parking arrangements, movement of the general public, VIP logistics, security management, and traffic arrangements.She directed that all arrangements be completed in a timely manner, ensuring convenience for both guests and the general public attending the event. The DM also instructed officials to ensure cleanliness, availability of drinking water, toilets, lighting, and other essential basic facilities at the venue. Additionally, she issued directions to strengthen signage, CCTV monitoring, and security arrangements at parking areas, entry and exit points, and key routes.The Noida International Airport is set to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi later this month.“The Prime Minister will also address a massive and historic public gathering of over two lakh people. This historic occasion would symbolise new energy and resolve towards the development of the country, the state, and the region,” Chaudhary said.The airport, he added, will accelerate development and nation-building, taking India forward towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. He urged all party workers to coordinate with everyone to ensure the programme is organised in a smooth, successful, and grand manner. The meeting was also attended by Gautam Budh Nagar MP Mahesh Sharma, Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh, Noida MLA Pankaj Singh, and other party workers.The Jewar MLA said that March 28 will be a golden day for Jewar and the entire region, when the Prime Minister and chief minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the Noida International Airport. This would not just be the inauguration of an airport but a historic moment that would open doors to development, employment, and new opportunities, he added.
