Vadodara: Unseasonal rainfall accompanied by strong winds was reported at isolated places in Panchmahal, Dahod and Mahisagar districts, disrupting power and essential services.Godhra in Panchmahal witnessed heavy winds and showers on Thursday night, leading to power outages at several locations. The disruption affected water supply on Friday as tanks could not be filled due to the lack of electricity.Operations of the Pavagadh ropeway were suspended from Thursday evening till night due to strong winds, as a precautionary measure for pilgrims visiting the Mahakali Temple during Chaitri Navratri. Services resumed on Friday morning.In Dahod district, Zalod and Dahod received light rainfall, while strong winds caused power disruptions. Balasinor in Mahisagar district recorded heavy rain.Officials said the unseasonal showers are likely to impact standing crops in the region.
