Nagpur: The Motor Vehicle Court slapped a fine of Rs30,000 on a parent for allowing his minor son to drive a vehicle, suspended the vehicle’s registration for a year and ordered that the boy shall not be issued a driving licence until the age of 25.Nagpur police had spotted the 16-year-old boy riding the two-wheeler at Chandrashekhar Azad Chowk on March 13. The police registered a case against the boy’s father, a 52-year-old resident of Hasanbag Chowk. Lakadganj division police inspector Sanjay Khandade, head constable Kirti Raju Bagdi, Shankar Misal, and officer Amol Meshram took the action under the guidance of DCP (traffic) Lohit Matani. The court hearing was held on Thursday.
