New Delhi: A 26-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death over a monetary dispute in northeast Delhi’s Dayalpur area. Police have apprehended three youths in connection with the case. A video of the incident, showing the victim being attacked with knives by a group, has surfaced on social media.The victim was identified as Mohammad Kaif, a scrap collector. The incident was reported on Friday. During the inquiry, police found that Kaif was attacked near a sweet shop by three men following an argument.Acting on specific inputs, police conducted raids and detained the accused. During interrogation, they allegedly confessed to the crime. “An ongoing monetary dispute over Rs 400 escalated into a violent argument, resulting in a fatal stabbing,” police said. Three knives used in the attack were seized.In a separate incident, a 20-year-old man was stabbed to death in northwest Delhi’s Azadpur Mandi area. The accused allegedly uploaded a video on Instagram after the murder, claiming responsibility for the crime and boasting about it. Police have apprehended three people in this case as well.Police said they received a call on March 2 regarding a stabbing near Haiderpur Nahar. The injured, identified as Nikki alias Nitesh, was taken to hospital, where he was declared brought dead.During the investigation, it was revealed that following a quarrel, the victim was attacked by three persons, who stabbed him multiple times. One of them allegedly posted a video on social media stating that he committed the murder and would be going to jail for some time.
