Kanpur: A clash broke out between two groups in Amolar village under the Talagram police station area of Kannauj district on Thursday night. A video of a youth brandishing a country-made pistol also went viral and some people allegedly opened fire. Police have detained six people.Both the had an old enmity for past one year and the dispute flared up again on Friday over taking out vehicle through a lane. On being informed, police reached the village and took six people from both the sides into custody. Ajay, son of Devpal; Hari Katheria, son of Munnu; Mahesh Chandra, son of Prahlad; Dheeraj, son of Mahesh Chandra; Arun, son of Nand Kishor, and Rahul, son of Amar Singh were detained.Station in-charge Vinay Sharma said that a clash took place between two groups and police are investigating the matter.
