Gurgaon: Two friends were involved in a road-rage incident in the Dhanwapur area of Gurgaon, where their argument escalated into a dangerous clash between two SUVs on a busy public road.The incident involved two black Mahindra Scorpios, whose drivers allegedly got into a heated altercation that quickly turned violent. Eyewitnesses reported that the two men hurled abuses at each other before chasing and repeatedly ramming their vehicles into one another at high speed.A video of the incident has surfaced on social media, showing the SUVs swerving recklessly across the road and forcing other commuters to slow down or stop to avoid collisions. In one particularly alarming moment, a two-wheeler rider narrowly escaped being trapped between the two crashing vehicles, while other passersby halted at a safe distance amid the chaos.Police teams reached the spot after receiving information and later called both individuals—residents of Dhanwapur—for questioning at the Rajendra Park police station. According to officials, the two were friends who had initially argued over a personal matter at a shared location. As they left the scene in anger, the dispute escalated when one driver rammed into the other while taking a turn, triggering the road-rage episode.Both men were counselled at the police station, where they apologised for their behaviour and stated that the dispute had been resolved. Their families also intervened to settle the matter. Police said no formal complaint was filed, and further action will depend on the findings of the inquiry.
