T’puram: Karamana police on Friday arrested two brothers for allegedly assaulting a youth from Thirumala after he questioned them for parking a motorcycle in front of his house.The accused have been identified as Muhammed Safar (23) and Muhammed Safan (21) of Kunjalumoodu. The incident occurred around 10pm on Tuesday. However, police did not disclose the identity of the victim. According to police, the youth confronted the brothers over parking their motorcycle in front of his residence, which led to a heated argument. The dispute soon turned violent, with the accused allegedly attacking him using an iron rod. The victim sustained injuries on both sides of his ribs and on his toes during the assault. When the youth’s parents tried to intervene, they were also manhandled by the accused, police said. The injured youth later sought treatment at a private hospital in the city and is reported to be out of danger. TNN
