Vadodara: Two men were arrested by the Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) on Tuesday for stealing a DJ system. The accused have been identified as Akshay Rathwa and Devang Rathwa, both residents of Chhota Udepur. Police said they intercepted a car near Kapurai Crossroads in which the duo was travelling. When the cops questioned them about the DJ system they were carrying in the car, they could not give a satisfactory reply. They then admitted having stolen the DJ system from a godown in Dhaniyavi village near Tarsali about a week ago.The duo told the cops they wanted to venture into the DJ business and buy the system. But since they did not have enough money to buy it, they decided to steal one. The cops said that the duo posed as customers and visited several shops that sold DJ systems to conduct a recce. The cops seized the stolen DJ system worth Rs 5 lakh from the duo. Akshay has cases under the Prohibition Act registered against him in Chhota Udepur.
