Bhubaneswar: The decomposed carcass of a 20-year old tusker was found in a forest close to Kasiadiha village in Dhenkanal forest division on Sunday morning. The exact reason behind the tusker’s death and when it died is not known. Forest officials said they have sent the samples for post mortem. “Whether it is a case of natural death, accidental or poaching can be ascertained only after the forensic examination,” said a forest officer.
