US President Donald Trump on Monday issued a stern warning to countries attempting to “play games” with what he termed a “ridiculous” Supreme Court decision, cautioning that such nations could face significantly higher tariffs than those recently agreed upon.
In a strongly worded statement, Trump said countries that have “ripped off the U.S.A. for years, and even decades” should not test Washington’s resolve, asserting that any attempt to undermine the decision would invite tougher economic measures.
“Any country that wants to play games… will be met with a much higher tariff, and worse, than that which they just recently agreed to,” Trump said, adding a cautionary note of “Buyer beware.”
