Agartala: Tripura CM Manik Saha on Saturday welcomed the outcome of Bangladesh’s recent elections, expressing hope that a new govt in Dhaka will further strengthen India-Bangladesh ties and support progress in both countries.Saha called the election results “happy news for all,” saying the formation of a democratically elected govt reflects the will of the Bangladeshi people. He said he expects the new govt to reinvigorate bilateral relations and expand cooperation across sectors.“Since the Partition, many families have been divided, with relatives living on both sides of the border. I believe that under the new leadership, these connections will strengthen, marking the dawn of a new era of friendship and partnership with Bangladesh,” the CM added.
