The situation escalated on March 23, when the buyer, along with two associates, allegedly reached the parking area of the complainant’s residential society and called him down. During the confrontation, the trio allegedly abused him verbally and demanded immediate repayment of the money. When the complainant objected to the language used, two of the accused allegedly got into a scuffle with him, with one of them slapping him. The complainant further alleged that the main accused issued a death threat before leaving the spot. The altercation drew attention from other residents, following which the accused fled.Satellite police registered a case of causing hurt, use of abusive language, criminal intimidation and abetment under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and began an investigation.
