Amravati: In a shocking incident, unknown thieves broke into the homes of five judges and four court employees in the Kantanagar area of Amravati, making off with valuables. The incident came to light on Sunday, sending shockwaves through the neighborhood.Kantanagar is home to several government officials, including judges and court staff. The thieves struck the Shahanur, Naldamayanti, and Painaganga buildings, where most judges reside, and the Suvarnarekh and Sharayu buildings, where court employees live.The intruders forced open doors and broke locks, stealing gold and cash. The exact amount taken remains unknown, as most residents were away at the time.The police have registered a case against three unidentified men following a complaint by Athar Ali Ejaz Ali Beg, a policeman on duty during the incident. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the culprits.The footage shows three men, estimated to be between 25 and 35 years old, carrying out the theft. Police attempted to apprehend them, but the thieves escaped by jumping over a compound wall and fleeing into nearby woods.The investigation is ongoing as authorities intensify efforts to track down the suspects.
