Patna: Leader of opposition in state assembly, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, on Sunday alleged that the economic condition of the state was in a “pathetic condition” and added that “Khazana khali hai”. He made the comment a day after CM Samrat Choudhary subtly targeted the RJD with his remark that “AI-enabled cameras could identify people wearing a green gamachha”.“Khazaba khali hai (coffer is empty),” Tejashwi told reporters at the Patna airport on Sunday, adding the govt has no money to do any work. He said the govt had promised to give the second instalment of money to the women (to run business) and increased pension to the people but they have not been given. “Instead the power rates have been revised,” he said, accusing the govt of “deceiving” the masses.Tejashwi further launched a sharp attack on the CM over his “green gamachha” remark which is seen as an indirect political swipe at the RJD, accusing the latter of trying to split the country. “The statements indicate how much hatred he carries in his mind,” he alleged.Reacting sharply to this remark, RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s daughter Rohini Acharya said such a prejudiced and hate-filled statement from a CM on a public platform is condemnable and unfortunate.
