Kolkata: Confusion prevailed on Tuesday after the supplementary list was published at 11:55pm on Monday, with the Election Commission of India passing the responsibility to the Calcutta High Court. Till late Tuesday evening, the ECI could not provide data on deletions and additions in the supplementary list, adjudicated by 705 judicial officers under the HC.Special Rolls Observer Subrata Gupta told media persons, “This adjudication has been conducted under HC, and they will be able to provide details. We can confirm that the supplementary list has been published and people are able to see it.” He added that another supplementary list will be published on Friday. “We can confirm that at least 30 lakh adjudication cases have been disposed of…” Gupta said.
