CHENNAI: Chief minister M K Stalin on Wednesday intensified his attack on AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami and Union home minister Amit Shah during his campaign in Trichy, while ignoring TVK president Vijay.Though Vijay was contesting from Trichy East, Stalin refrained from responding during the campaign. He maintained the same approach in Karur as well, while hitting out at EPS, calling him a ‘full sanghi’.Even as Stalin ignored him, Vijay escalated his attack on DMK govt. In a letter to Election Commission of India, Vijay alleged that police were not providing adequate security for his campaign due to pressure from DMK govt. TVK general secretary Aadhav Arjuna went a step further, claiming there was a “threat to his life from political rivals,” adding a sharper edge to the exchanges.
