Surat: Dindoli police have arrested five persons, including a minor, in connection with the murder of 32-year-old Ashish Singh outside Shree Krishna AC Mall on Sunday afternoon.The arrested accused have been identified as Abhishek Rajput (21), Gaurav Mishra (21), Hitesh Pandey (24), Samir Sharma (20), and a minor boy.According to police, Singh, a property dealer, was attacked outside the mall shortly after returning from a blood donation camp. He sustained fatal injuries in the assault.Police said, Rajput has a dacoity case registered against him at Katargam police station in 2024. Mishra is also a history-sheeter, with six offences registered against him, including cases of abduction, dacoity, attempt to murder and rioting. Investigators added that Singh also had two offences registered against him in the past.Police are further probing the motive behind the murder and questioning the accused.
