Pune: A third-year student (19) of a residential spiritual education school in Alandi was found hanging from a tree on Wednesday morning.Alandi police said prima facie it was a case of suicide. “We are investigating the reason behind it,” sub-inspector T D Khadke of Alandi police station said. Khadke dded that said some residents on Wednesday morning found the student hanging from a tree branch at the Siddhabet area in Alandi. He was taken to a hospital, where the doctors pronounced him dead. A source in the police said a piece of cloth was used for hanging from the tree.“The victim was from Nashik and was a third-year student of the residential school. He left the school on Tuesday night, saying that he was going to a temple,” Khadke said.Khadke said the police registered a case of accidental death.
