Shimla: A trainee recruit from Rajasthan lost his life after a tree fell on him at the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) camp in Shamshi near Kullu on Monday.The deceased was identified as 23-year-old Ram Saini, a resident of Sakhun village in the Dudu sub-division of Jaipur district in Rajasthan.According to information, Ram Saini was part of a group of new recruits undergoing training at the SSB camp.Monday evening, during a class break when the trainees were heading outside, a powerful dust storm struck, and a large poplar tree was uprooted and fell on Ram Saini.Saini, who sustained serious injuries to his head and abdomen, was immediately rushed to the nearby Regional Hospital in Kullu where doctors declared him dead.
