Bhubaneswar: In a minor shuffle of IAS officers, the govt on Thursday appointed Prathamesh Arvind Rajeshirke, a 2021-batch officer currently serving as commissioner of Berhampur Municipal Corporation with additional charge of vice-chairman of Berhampur Development Authority, as collector of Malkangiri. The incumbent Malkangiri collector, Somesh Kumar Upadhyay, has been posted as director, textiles and handlooms, Odisha.Manish Agarwal, additional special relief commissioner with additional charge of additional secretary in the planning and convergence department, has been appointed registrar, cooperative societies, Odisha.Smruti Ranjan Pradhan, additional secretary in forest, environment and climate change department, has been named managing director of Odisha Small Industries Corporation. He will also hold additional charge as chief executive officer, Startup Odisha. With this, the additional charge earlier held by Rashmita Panda as CEO, Startup Odisha, stands terminated.Siddhartha Das, registrar, cooperative societies, has been posted as director, fisheries, Odisha, Cuttack.Madhusmita Sahoo, additional secretary in the revenue and disaster management department with additional charge of director, Revenue Officers’ Training Institute, has been appointed director, Teachers’ Education and State Council of Educational Research and Training, Odisha. She will continue to hold additional charge as additional secretary in the school & mass education department.
