Hassan: Hassan MP Shreyas Patel on Monday accused former minister and Holenarsipura MLA HD Revanna of misusing power and harassing district- and taluk-level officials.Addressing reporters, Patel said Revanna was “unnecessarily interfering” in the district administration and indulging in “silly politics”. As a senior leader, Revanna should guide juniors using his political experience, he said, but instead was engaging in “revenge politics”.The MP alleged that Revanna was targeting officials rather than raising development issues of the constituency and district in the assembly. He further stated that Revanna had abused the DC, who, he said, was working diligently.Regarding the former MP Prajwal case, Patel said an SIT investigation was under way and that no one could interfere with it. If there were irregularities, those concerned could approach the court, he added.On LPG supply, Patel said the public need not panic as 7,731 domestic gas cylinders were available in the district. While there could be a two-day delay, cylinders would be provided, he said.
