The early 2000s were the golden era of classic chick-flick teen movies. One of the most popular films of the time was ‘John Tucker Must Die .’ In a recent interview, one of the lead actresses, Arielle Kebbel, opened up about her experience on the sets of the film, and how they shot the movie around the same time as ‘She’s the Man.’

The famed actress recalled her glory days from the 2000s as she recalled what it was like for her. While featuring on the ‘Chicks in the Office podcast’, the star shared that she was filming for ‘John Tucker Must Die’ as the same time that Amanda Bynes was filming ‘She’s The Man’, and the two teams had somehow ended up staying at the same hotel.Recalling the experience, she revealed that “It was like summer camp,” as all of the cast members would get together to have fun. Both of the films were being shot at the same time in Vancouver, Canada. She further revealed that there were around 20 people staying there, and over time, both of the teams mixed well with one another. “We would go visit their set. They would come visit our set. You would see us walking down the street in a line of 20. We literally moved in a herd. We would go to a club together. We would go to a dinner together,” she added.
Premise of ‘John Tucker Must Die’ and ‘She’s The Man’
‘She’s The Man’ follows the story of a teenage girl who wishes to play football professionally; however, her team at school gets squashed because there are not enough girls. In a bout to play at the college level, she disguises herself as a man to pretend to be her brother at his college. ‘John Tucker Must Die’ is another classic chick-flick that follows the story of a group of girls who all fell for the same guy, but were dumped by him. In order to take revenge, they set up a plan to make him fall in love with a girl, who will then break his heart, however, things do not always go as planned as feelings get involved.
