Srinagar, March 09: All Government and Private Schools in the Kashmir Valley reopened on Monday after winter break. Authorities had made necessary arrangements, and teachers were ready to resume regular classes.
The reopening marks the end of the annual winter vacation, which was extended due to harsh weather and protests following Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s Assassination by Israel.
The Government on Sunday decided to reopen all educational institutions across the Kashmir region from Monday after remaining closed for a week as a precautionary measure.
Education Minister Sakina Itoo said that schools, colleges and universities in all districts of Kashmir will resume functioning from Monday.
