Ludhiana: After intense campaigning for the past three-and-a-half months, AAP candidate and MP Sanjeev Arora finally hit the pause button after Ludhiana West cast its vote. He is locked in a multi-cornered contest with BJP’s Jiwan Gupta, SAD’s Parupkar Singh Ghumman and Congress’s Bharat Bhushan Ashu.Arora Friday said, “I allowed myself a rare indulgence — I slept in and started the day slow. Upon waking up, I immediately requested my team and the municipal corporation to begin the process of removing all campaign-related material, including posters, wall wraps, and stickers across the constituency.”Adding further, he said, “I had a light breakfast and, more importantly, spent quality time with my family — something I deeply missed during the campaign. I was finally able to be present with my grandchildren, Aria, Anhad, and Ivaan. Hearing them say, ‘Dadu, it’s so nice to finally see you — we were only seeing you on posters and hoardings!’ was a heartfelt reminder of how much time I was away.”He said, “We shared lunch together as a family, and I’m looking forward to taking them all out for dinner tonight to their favourite restaurant. I plan to continue spending the next two days in the company of my loved ones — something that took a backseat during the demanding election schedule.”For him, this pause is important not just to rest, but also reflect, recharge, and reconnect before moving forward with renewed vigour and energy.
