Lucknow: Actor Sanjay Dutt will launch the ‘Net Zero Sarojininagar’ campaign on Feb 22 at an event in Bangla Bazaar, to be organised under the leadership of MLA Rajeshwar Singh.The initiative aims to strengthen environmental protection, public awareness and civic responsibility in the constituency. As part of the programme, Sanjay Dutt will participate in a grand roadshow across the area, interacting with residents and youth. He will also felicitate “Environment Warriors” for their notable contributions to ecological conservation.
The ‘Net Zero Sarojininagar’ campaign seeks to promote green awareness, sustainable development and climate-conscious practices at the local level. Organisers said the initiative reflects a commitment to balancing development with environmental responsibility. A key focus of the event will also be voter awareness. Sanjay Dutt and MLA Rajeshwar Singh will urge young people and first-time voters to ensure their names are enrolled in the electoral rolls, obtain voter identity cards, and actively participate in the democratic process.
