Salman Khan‘s father Salim Khan has been admitted to the hospital since the last few days. For those not in the know, the legendary screenwriter was admitted to Lilavati hospital and the doctors informed the media that experienced a minor brain haemorrhage and subsequently underwent a surgical procedure. Dr Jalil Parkar who was treating him had told the media after his surgery, “There was minimal brain haemorrhage. A procedure called DSA was done today morning. No surgery was required. He is still on ventilator. By tomorrow hopefully, he will be off ventilator. Keeping in mind the age, the time of recovery is more. He’s fine, he’s stable… All in all, he’s doing quite well,” he added. Now here’s the recent update on his health. According to a post by Vickey Lalwani, “Salim Khan is feeling relatively better, and if all goes well, the celebrated writer will be discharged soon. There was a brain clot which has been treated and Salman Khan’s father is going to go home in the next 3 to 4 days. It was not easy but the prayers have been heard. The team of doctors attending to him have done a very good job and the Khan family is very relieved and happy.”
Recently, Javed Akhtar had also dropped an update on his health. Akhtar was present at a book launch event in the city. As quoted by Hindustan Times, Akhtar said, “Salim is fine now. He’s okay and recovering. He’s sitting on a chair and talking, and I mean, he has improved.”A few days ago, Salman’s co-star Daisy Shah had also shared that the screenwriter is out of danger now. “Daisy revealed that although she hasn’t personally met the family at the hospital, she has been regularly checking in with Salman. She told Filmygyan, “I couldn’t meet Salim sir, but I am constantly in touch with Salman sir and his family. Salim Sir is fine now. He is stable. The surgery went well, it was a success and he is under observation, but he is out of danger.”
