Gandhinagar: The Gujarat govt said in the assembly on Monday that Rs 737.91 crore was spent on deep sea discharge pipeline projects in the state.In reply to a question by Congress MLA Amit Chavda, govt said that the Ankleshwar deep sea pipeline project was sanctioned on March 29, 2022, the Saykha deep sea pipeline project was sanctioned on March 30, 2021, the Ahmedabad deep sea pipeline project was sanctioned on Nov 26, 2019, and the Jetpur deep sea pipeline project was sanctioned on Nov 26, 2019.In response to the amount spent on the projects as of Jan 31, 2026, govt said that GWIL (Gujarat Water Infrastructure Ltd) spent Rs 108.38 crore on the Jetpur pipeline project, while GIDC spent Rs 629.53 crore on the Saykha pipeline project.
