Udupi: A rowdy-sheeter from Kundapur was arrested after the court cancelled his bail for violating conditions and remanded him in judicial custody. According to police, Abubakkar,48, a resident of Gulwadi village in Kundapur taluk, is listed as a rowdy-sheeter at Kundapur Rural police station, with several cases registered against him.In connection with a case registered under Section 303(2) read with 3(5) of the BNS, along with Sections 5 and 12 of the Karnataka Prevention of Slaughter and Preservation of Cattle Act, 2020, and Section 11(1)(D) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, the accused was found to have violated bail conditions. Following this, police approached the court seeking cancellation of his bail. The court subsequently revoked his bail and issued a remand warrant. He was arrested and produced before the court, which remanded him in judicial custody till April 7.
