Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS) has submitted a proposal to the state govt for the construction of a seven-storey OPD building on its second campus on Shaheed Path. The proposal also includes increasing the hospital’s capacity from the current 750 beds to 1,000 beds. According to institute director Prof CM Singh, the proposed OPD block at the Mother and Child Referral Hospital will accommodate over 12 departments. tnn
