Chennai: A man died after his car crashed into an electric pole near Avadi. The deceased was identified as Abinesh Raghav, 36, a resident of Veerapuram near Avadi, who owned a bike showroom in the area. The incident occurred late night while he was returning home with his seven-year-old son, Aswanth, via the Vandalur-Minjur Outer Ring Road.According to reports, when their car reached Palavedu, another vehicle coming from behind rammed into Abinesh’s car. Due to the impact, he lost control of the vehicle, which then veered off and crashed into a nearby electric pole.Raghav died on the spot due to severe injuries. His son, however, escaped unhurt. Passengers in the other vehicle were also reported to be safe.Upon receiving information, Avadi traffic investigation police rushed to the scene, recovered the body, and sent it to Govt Kilpauk medical college hospital for postmortem.A case was registered, and police have launched an investigation into the accident.
