Bengaluru: Bagmane Developers Pvt Ltd signed a grant agreement with Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) to support construction of DRDO Sports Complex Metro station on Outer Ring Road (ORR) corridor under Phase-2A of Namma Metro project.The agreement signed Friday involves a contribution of Rs 40 crore from Bagmane Developers, of which Rs 20 crore has already been remitted. The company will also fund improvements of the station’s interiors and façade.BMRCL said Namma Metro will grant naming rights to the developer for 20 years. The proposed name will be Bagmane DRDO Sports Complex Metro Station, subject to govt approval.BMRCL has set a Dec 2026 deadline for opening the Blue line from Central Silk Board to KR Pura.
