Chandigarh: With assembly elections round the corner, Gurtej Singh Pannu has tendered his resignation from the post of social media chairman, Punjab Congress, with immediate effect. In a letter addressed to KC Venugopal and Supriya Srinate, Pannu said it was an honour to serve the party in the role and contribute towards strengthening its communication and outreach. He expressed gratitude for the trust and responsibility given to him.He clarified that while stepping down from the organisational position, he remains fully committed to the ideology and values of the Indian National Congress. He stated that he would continue to serve the party with the same dedication and sincerity in every possible manner.
