Ahmedabad: President of India Droupadi Murmu will visit Gujarat and Maharashtra from April 13 to 16, mentioned a release by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) on Sunday. On April 13, the President will participate in the first convocation ceremony of the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rajkot as the chief guest.On April 14, the President will participate in the ‘Samajik Samrasta Mahotsava’ at Lok Bhavan, Gandhinagar, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar. On the same day, the President will also preside over the fifth convocation ceremony of Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) at Gandhinagar. Senior state officials will accompany her during the events, said state govt sources.
