Jaipur: The sixth edition of Poornima Rajasthan Men’s Football League A Division League will get underway at the Poornima University Ground here on Friday.The Rajasthan Football Association secretary Dilip Singh Shekhawat informed that the A Division League will be played between a total of seven clubs in a round robin league. Each club will play 12 matches. A total of 42 matches will be played in the league.The winner of the league will be promoted to the All India Football Federation’s 3rd Division League. The league will commence on March 20 and conclude on April 28.The seven participating clubs are — Zinc Football Academy, Udaipur, Jaipur City Football Club Jaipur, Football Club Brothers United Jaipur, Sunrise Football Club Sirohi, ASL Football Club Jaipur, Jairathi Football Club Sikar, Rehan Football Club Ajmer. On the inaugural day, three matches will be played. The first match will be played between Sunrise Club and ASL Club at 7.30 am, the second tie will be held between Rihaan Club and Brothers United at 10.30 am and the third encounter will take place between Jerthi Club and Zinc Football Academy at 4.30 pm.Earlier through this league, Rajasthan United Football Club and Jaipur Elite Football Club have participated in the Indian League 1st Division and 3rd Division.
