Ludhiana: The commissionerate police conducted a ‘Walk a Talk’ drive Saturday to instil a sense of safety and security in the residents of the city. CP Swapan Sharma, along with other police officers, was out on the road walking and engaging in a conversation with the residents from 6.30pm to 8pm.The drive was held in crowded public areas such as Rose Garden and Middha Chowk. Earlier on May 15, too, the CP visited Rakh Bagh, Kipps Market, and Dugri Market, besides Sun View Enclave to interact with citizens.Sharma said the objective of the drive is to listen to people’s grievances, build trust and transparency, get first-hand feedback from the public, prevent crime, and promote community involvement.
