Nagpur: In Akola district, more than 11,000 candidates have registered for 161 posts, while in Amravati district, over 21,000 aspirants have applied for 214 posts at the police recruitment drive. Nearly 60 CCTV cameras have been installed across the Akola police headquarters, where the recruitment process is being conducted. Akola superintendent of police Archit Chandak said, “Our objective is to maintain complete transparency. During the running test, we have deployed a modern timing and tracking system such as RFID. Also, there will be extensive CCTV coverage so that no candidate has any doubts regarding the evaluation process,” he said.
