Mandya: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Adichunchanagiri Mutt in Nagamangala taluk of Mandya district on April 15.DC Kumara Friday reviewed security, protocol and logistical arrangements at a preparatory meeting, ahead of the visit.During the visit, Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the newly constructed Gaddige (temple) of former seer Balagangadharanatha Swami. A public programme will follow at the BGS Stadium, where thousands are expected to participate.To ensure the smooth movement of the PM and his security entourage, the DC instructed officials to construct three helipads near the venue and set up a dedicated green room. He also directed them to ensure an uninterrupted power supply during the event and make adequate vehicle parking arrangements.Officials were asked to coordinate with BSNL to ensure reliable internet and telephone connectivity at the helipads and event venues.Zilla panchayat CEO KR Nandini, SP VJ Shobharani and ADC BC Shivananda Murthy were present at the meeting.
