Prayagraj: Samajwadi Party‘s national general secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav on Wednesday said people of the state have made up their mind to bring a change in Uttar Pradesh in the 2027 Assembly polls.“Amid the BJP’s rule, only the SP stands in solidarity with distressed farmers and unemployed youth,” Shivpal said. The former minister claimed that women and minority were living under a sense of insecurity. “The discriminatory statements periodically issued by BJP leaders are fostering an atmosphere of bitterness within society,” he said. Shivpal was speaking during an event to honour widows of martyrs at an event organised by an educational institution in Jagatpur. He asked party workers to work unitedly at the state and national levels to oust the BJP govt from power and emphasised the need to strengthen the party’s organisational structure.tnn
