Patna: The bail applications of Independent MP Pappu Yadav in several pending cases are scheduled to be taken up by a Patna court on Friday, according to his lawyer, Shivnandan Bharti. The hearings were originally listed for Thursday morning around 11am, but Yadav only appeared in the afternoon session. This delay occurred because a bomb threat prompted evacuation and security checks at the Patna civil court complex, though the alert later proved to be a hoax.
