Patna: The Election Commission on Saturday said 95.92% of Bihar’s total 7.90 crore electors was covered under the special intensive revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls and only a little over 4% (32,23,023) of them are yet to submit their filled-up enumeration forms. “The EC is making all possible efforts to ensure that the remaining nearly 32 lakh electors are added to the draft electoral roll,” the EC said in a press statement on Saturday. It added that BLOs have already completed over three rounds of house-to-house visits and have established contact with the electors.
