Nashik: A car driver, (41), succumbed to serious injuries on Sunday after his car toppled while trying to avoid dogs on Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Road in Nashik city on March 15.The deceased was identified as Digambar Bodke. Digambar’s younger brother Rajesh, registered a complaint with the Adgaon police .Digambar was driving from Saikheda to home.“All of a sudden when dogs crossed the road, Digambar tried to avoid them. Hence, he attempted to change the direction of the car. However, the car toppled and he suffered grievous injuries to his head and chest. He suffered internal bleeding as well,” said the police officer. However, nearby locals shifted him to a hospital where his relatives had also came. “He succumbed to his injuried on Sunday,” the officer added. The police have registered the case of death due to negligent driving section 106 (1) of BNS.In another accident. Sahebrao Dhikale, a resident of Chachadgaon, Dindori died after his motorcycle was hit by another motorcycle from behind.According to complainant, Yogesh Dhikale — the son of the deceased — his father and his friend were riding the motorcycle. They were on their home from Mhasrul police chowky towards Mhasrul village on Dindori road on Friday night. A speeding two-wheeler, coming from behind, hit their vehicle throwing them off the vehicle. The deceased received injuries in head and chest, and the friend was also injured.Both of them were taken to hospital where Sahebrao Dhikale succumbed to injuries.
