Mysuru: As many as 862 kg of narcotics materials seized under the NDPS case were destroyed by incineration at a private firm in Mysuru on Monday.Drug materials seized in a case in Mysuru South police limits in Yandahalli village were destroyed after obtaining permission from a local court. After approval from the drug disposal committee, which is headed by superintendent of police Mallikarjun Baladandi, the seized materials were destroyed at Harohalli.Drug Disposal Committee vice-president and additional superintendent of police L Nagesh and other committee members, including from Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, were present.
