Mumbai: BJP MP from Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, Narayan Rane, on Monday withdrew two petitions before the Bombay High Court for quashing of FIRs registered against him in 2021 for his allegedly provocative remarks against the then chief minister, Uddhav Thackeray.A bench led by Justice Ravindra Ghuge was informed that Rane was discharged by a magistrate in a Raigad FIR. The prosecutor submitted that Thane’s Navpada police station has filed a C summary report for the closure of the probe, and Pune’s Chatushringi police station is in the process of filing it.
