Mumbai: The Govt Railway Police (GRP) at CSMT registered a case of voyeurism against the live-in partner of a woman for circulating their intimate photos to her relatives and defaming her. The woman is based out of her parents’ place in Andaman. She had lodged a complaint with Andaman Police, who transferred the case to CSMT GRP, as the accused works in the vicinity of the terminus.Police said the woman had tied the knot in 2017 at Jharkhand while working for a company there. The couple had a son. But they had frequent fights and separated. The woman moved back to her parents’ place in Andaman. Subsequently, she went to Odisha, where she grew friendly with a man she met at a wedding event. The two started to live together and had a daughter. But after disputes with him, she returned to Andaman, back to her parents’ place. On Jan 9, live-in partner called her up and threatened her. He circulated their intimate photos to her relatives to defame her. She then lodged a complaint against him.
The CSMT GRP called her up and asked her to give a statement. They have also asked her to submit all evidence so they can track down the accused.
