Bathinda: Nikka Sidhu, the younger brother of slain Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh, popularly known as Sidhu Moose Wala, turned two on Tuesday, with fans, artists and political leaders extending wishes on social media.Born through in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) at a Bathinda hospital on March 17, 2024, the child was named Nikka Sidhu by his parents, Balkaur Singh and Charan Kaur, who see him as a continuation of Moose Wala’s legacy.Punjabi singer Gurdas Mann recently met Nikka and wished him in advance. Images of Mann touching the child’s feet went viral, with many noting his resemblance to Moosewala. Last year, former chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi had also visited the family around the child’s first birthday.Soon after his birth, Nikka’s image with his father appeared on a billboard at Times Square in New York. He was also seen accompanying his parents during a protest at the Mansa SSP office last month.Sidhu Moose Wala, who had a global fan following, was shot dead on May 29, 2022, at Jawaharke village in Mansa district.
