Ranchi: Local MLA C P Singh has felicitated the RPF team who saved a man from allegedly killing himself by jumping in front of the train from the overbridge on platform 2 of Ranchi railway station on March 14. RPF said on Monday that the MLA gave away commendation certificates to the team led by sub-inspector Sooraj Pandey. The man had jumped from the overbridge on a train and had come in contact with a high-tension wire. Pandey extinguished the fire and brought him down. The man was rushed to Guru Nanak Hospital where he is stated to be in a stable condition. Union minister of state for defence Sanjay Seth had also honoured the RPF team on March 19.TNN
